Damaged sheetrock can make a room look neglected. Holes, cracks, water stains, and peeling tape can also point to problems inside the wall.
Sheetrock walls can suffer damage from moisture, movement, impact, failed fasteners, and poor installation. Each type of damage needs a different repair method.
Before starting the repair, we inspect the wall and find out why it failed. Covering the visible damage without fixing the source often leads to another repair later.
Holes are one of the most common reasons homeowners call for sheetrock wall repair. They can come from moving furniture, opening a door into the wall, removing fixtures, plumbing work, or electrical repairs.
Small holes can usually be filled with joint compound. We remove loose paper, fill the opening, sand the area, and apply another coat when needed.
